Synopsis
In the American South, there is something overwhelmingly romantic about the high school years. And, in this town, every coming-of-age event seems to be amplified a bit. Playing on their school’s baseball team, The Giants, two boys experience the extraordinary benefits of being local stars in their own right. But it turns out that nothing can make them immune to the pressures and temptations present in their town. Whether it’s dealing with the prom, alcoholism or even a murder, their lives seem destined to be anything but normal.
