Synopsis

“The Haunting of Sharon Tate” reimagines the last days of Sharon Tate’s life before being tragically cut down at the age of 26 by Charles Manson’s family of followers. Sharon has just moved into the house where she and director Roman Polanski would start their family as Sharon is eight months pregnant with their first child. Sharon’s friends keep her company until Roman returns from Europe. What should be an enjoyable time turns sinister when a series of strange events occur—a creepy man named Charlie comes around looking for the previous owner of the house, strange hippie-girls pass the house as if stalking it, the family dog goes missing… Sharon starts having visions of her impending death and is unable to convince her friends that the visions are real until it’s too late for all of them. The Tate murders are infamous not only for their savagery, but marked the end of the “Summer of Love,” one of the most defining moments of the 1960s.
