Synopsis
Mysterious incidents are mounting in Norway’s deepest fjord. People are vanishing without a trace, and wild salmon are dying in vast numbers. When marine biologist Johanne arrives to investigate the situation on-site, her routine assignment turns into a nightmare: two young men on a jet ski die inexplicably, and shortly thereafter, mutilated bodies begin to surface… Johanne eventually uncovers something that defies all scientific explanation. The sonar technology used in salmon farming has awakened the mythical Kraken—an ancient monster from the depths that destroys anything that moves or makes a sound.
