Synopsis

It is 1974. Germany is separated. East and West. In the paranoia of the Cold War, it can be dangerous to know too much. But time is running out for Sophie Zimmermann. She is being hunted and the only way to survive is to find out the identity of The Man On The Other Side! Sophie Zimmermann works for the Federal Ministry of Defence in Bonn. A meek, bespectacled woman in her mid-20s, for six months she has been feeding top secret government documents to her boyfriend Dieter. Unknown to her, Dieter is a Stasi agent working deep undercover in West Germany. As she is pulled deeper and deeper into this web of lies, Sophie believes that Dieter is selling this information for money. Once they have DM 1.000.000, they will run away together, or so that’s the plan. On the day of the escape, however, she is captured…
