Synopsis

A legend of the courts of New York City, Kenny Anderson was scouted from as early as the 6th grade. He received offers from practically every college in America. People witnessed his talent and knew he was destined for greatness. How Lawrence held four jobs, yet managed to pay Kenny’s tuition to attend basketball powerhouse Archbishop Molloy High School, where Kenny was coached by the legendary Jack Curran. LeFrak neighbors Vince Smith and Judge Pierre Turner mentored Kenny on and off the court. No strings attached. They asked for nothing in return. “Without their help I’m not sure how I would have ended up. They gave me structure and I listened to them about life at an early age. That’s what my mother always said, you listened and stayed away from trouble”
