Synopsis

After struggling with the death of his brother Sergio, Mario; a well- loved retirement home nurse and caring husband to Julia, looks forward to a new chapter in his life with the arrival of their first child. But when the elderly Antonio Padin, Galicia’s most feared cartel boss, is discharged from prison and put into Mario’s care, he begins to question whether his duty of care is more important than the lives this man has destroyed. As Mario’s growing bond with Antonio puts his young family at risk, the boss’ sons failed attempt to run the cartel’s business in their father’s absence forces Mario to reconnect with his traumatic past.
