DVD and Blu-ray Releases for July 13th, 2010

July 12th, 2010

The dog days of summer continue on the home market. The best selling release of the week is also one of the worst films of the year. Also, there are not a lot of limited release / TV on DVD releases to pick up the pace, so the odds are that it will be a slow week in terms of sales. Saint of the Per Theater Chart

February 2nd, 2010

Saint John of Las Vegas rode an impressive cast to the top of the per theater chart with an average of $10,833, but given its reviews, I don't think it will stick around much longer. However, unless the Oscar nominations help it at the box office, this will be the last time it appears on this list. More...

Mass(ive) Limited Releases

January 29th, 2010

Not a large number of limited releases opening this week, but there are a few that are of interest, some for positive reasons, others not so much. On the other hand, Preacher's Kid is opening in what could be way too many theaters for a limited release while it has no review on Rotten Tomatoes. Will either of these films thrive? Will any of the films on this week's list thrive? We will find out soon enough. More...
