Synopsis
College student Noble Williams rushes home after receiving an alarming call: her PawPaw’s health has taken a turn for the worse. Joined by her two best friends — Sunshine, the tree-hugging optimist, and Nigeria, the flat-earth-government-is-behind-everything realist — they head home, running into a blindfolded Bird Box–inspired group along the way. Just another day. At the nursing home, PawPaw is thrilled to see Noble, but when they’re alone, he reveals something unsettling: “You gotta get me outta here — they gon’ wipe the floor with me.” Before Noble can react, the nurses return and escort her out. The next day, Noble, her crew, and Aunt MeekMeek are informed that PawPaw is missing. The only clue is his cryptic warning: “The clock is ticking…” which leads Noble to a goofy relic from her childhood — a giant Flavor Flav–style clock PawPaw always made her wear.
