Synopsis
A young journalist leaves her native Moldova to distance herself from her father, who is responsible for the abuse and trauma in her early life. When she later returns to confront him about his behavior, she discovers that her father was also abused — by his employer in Italy. The journalist’s subsequent research reveals how behavioral patterns such as emotional blackmail or domestic violence are often passed down from generation to generation.
