Synopsis

Walter, a mild mannered movie ticket-taker believes himself to be the son of God with the responsibility to judge the eternal fate of everyone. When a ghost stuck in purgatory interrupts Walter's daily routine his world is turned upside down forcing him to reassess the meaning of his life.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (DVD or Blu-ray) is the only real contender, while A Most Violent Year is on the list because the screener arrived late and it is the only other release that is an easy recommendation.
