After Dark Horrorfest has been around for several years, helping lower budget horror films get theatrical releases. Over the years dozens of such films have come out under this banner. A few weeks ago, a quartet of double-shots were released on Blu-ray, starting with... More...

DVD and Blu-ray Releases for January 4th, 2011

January 3rd, 2011

The first week of the year and this year starts the same way last year ends, without a whole lot of must have choices. For instance, North Face earned awards in its native Germany and is earning strong reviews here. On the other hand, Preacher's Kid is opening in what could be way too many theaters for a limited release while it has no review on Rotten Tomatoes. Will either of these films thrive? Will any of the films on this week's list thrive? We will find out soon enough. More...
