Synopsis
After meeting as children over a series of summers in the Italian Alps, Pietro and Bruno reunite as adults to build a mountainside cottage which becomes a site of both reflection and reconciliation. In THE EIGHT MOUNTAINS, Felix Van Groeningen and Charlotte trace with exquisite beauty and grace the life trajectories of two men whose peak moments and low ebbs become one with the landscape that has shaped them.
