Most of the new releases that charted on this week's sales chart also charted on this week's rental chart, and they even shared the same new number one film, The Incredible Hulk. Second place went to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with about 23% fewer rentals. The Strangers had half as many rentals as the number one DVD, while Iron Man and The Happening were close behind.

Two direct-to-DVD releases were next with Linewatch placing 12th and The Lazarus Project placing 18th. Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed rounded out the top 30, barely, earning just a hair more than Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie and Another Cinderella Story.
