Synopsis
Set over the period of a long Berlin night, Chasing Paper Birds takes you on a journey into the minds of Mia, Keks, & Ian. Three story-lines about love, hope, obsessions and fears that weave into one another, allowing for a beautifully haunting glimpse into the darker side of a lost generation. Young people in their 20s and 30s at a turning point in their lives, searching for happiness but not sure of what will happen if they actually find it. This coming-of-age story for adults is an aural and visual trip into the spiraling vortex of the night before the birds are chirping again, despite the fact that not all characters choose to ‘wake up’.
