DVD Rentals - Spidey Finds Friendly Reception on the Rental Chart

As it was on the sales chart, so it was on the rental chart: there were plenty of new releases, but Spider-man 3 came away on top with $9.70 million in rentals. More...

DVD Releases for October 30, 2007 - Part II

October 29th, 2007

Another massive week for releases with dozens of releases mentioned below (and in the first part). Of these numerous releases, there were several that were in contention for the DVD Pick of the Week, but I was able to narrow the selection down to just two: Spider-Man 3 - Blu-Ray Edition and Looney Tunes - Golden Collection - Volume Five. Movie Website Updates for May 13 - May 19, 2007

May 19th, 2007

I was tempted to give the award to The Transformers - Official Site just for the new trailer, but I already geeked-out over that site when the first trailer came out. In the end there just wasn't a site worthy of the award this week. More...

Will Severance Rule the Limited Releases?

May 18th, 2007

It's a bad week for limited releases with only a couple managing to earn overwhelmingly positive reviews, and none of the wider releases earning even moderately positive reviews. Of the films on this week's list, the one I'm cheering for the most is Severance, but its chances are mixed. More...

Movie Website Updates for January 20 - January 26

January 26th, 2006

During the past week promotional websites for several movies were launched and some older ones added additional content. The winner this week was Curious George - Official Site, which was extremely well done, although it is aimed at a very young audience. More...
