Synopsis

Awake is a surreal psychological thriller about a man whose failed anesthetic leaves him fully conscious during open heart surgery, but unable to alert the surgical team surrounding him. Forced to endure intolerable pain, the main retreats into the dark recesses of his mind, only to find a far greater pain waiting for him within.
