Synopsis

A beautiful flight attendant looking for love. A lonely zookeeper hiding within his animal kingdom from a changing society. A little orphan girl selling roses on the streets. It's modern-day Saigon, where eight million people are just trying to keep up with the pace.

Ten-year-old Thuy works at her uncle's bamboo factory, where she works long hours and is treated poorly. That is, until she packs her bags and runs away to the big city. A flower girl on the streets of Saigon, she soon meets two other lonely hearts. Hai, a zookeeper nursing a broken heart after his fiancee left him, takes refuge in his beloved animals. He is further saddened by the news that the zoo will be selling their baby elephant to India, in order to control costs. Lan is a flight attendant who frequently stays in Saigon.

In four days, the young runaway will play matchmaker to her newfound friends in hopes of forming a surrogate family. The only obstacles that may stop her are city authorities who want her in an orphanage and an overbearing uncle tracking her down in the big city.
