IMAX - The Dark Knight is Too Big for IMAX to Contain

The Dark Knight broke countless IMAX records over the weekend starting with its midnight shows on Friday, as it made $641,508 in 93 theaters. On Friday the film made $2,590,581 while over the whole weekend it made $6.3 million from 94 theaters, for an average of $67,036. All four of those stats were records, as was the film's $7 million worldwide opening weekend.
