Synopsis
Crime beat reporter Jennifer is reassigned to the features desk for the holidays and gets the assignment of a lifetime: to find the true meaning of Christmas! But Jennifer’s new assignment gets off to a rocky start as she stumbles her way through various jobs as an undercover department store sales clerk. The store manager, Jack notices Jennifer struggling and takes her under his wing. As the two get to know each other, Jack reveals the store’s secret plan to tear down the current building to rebuild a bigger, better store. Realizing this is the story she should write about, Jennifer reports on the potential sale to help Jack save the store. But when Jack realizes Jennifer is the anonymous author of the story, he feels betrayed and fires her. In an effort to make things right, Jennifer starts a blog about how wonderful the store is just the way it is, and it becomes a viral hit, saving not only the store but also her budding romance with Jack.
