Synopsis

Evan Kamber, a strong willed but tortured young man, has been seeing visions of his brother Nathan, who was murdered four days ago. Evan feels an overwhelming guilt that he was somehow responsible, but can’t remember what happened. Desperate for help, he seeks out a psychiatrist named Warren Atherton, who specializes in homeopathic medicine. Evan and Warren meet a second time. All is going well until Evan has another vision of Nathan, cut and bloodied. This takes him to a dark place where he is able to let Warren know a bit more. Warren realizes how extreme Evan's psychosis is and offers an intense psychedelic as a therapy. However, the therapy takes a dark turn, and Evan breaks into consciousness and thrusts the knife — not into Warren who he expects to be sitting with him, but into Detective Stevens who had arrived to re-examine the crime scene again. Horrified, Evan goes to Warren’s office where a different man, the real Warren Atherton greets him. Evan’s mind begins to spin until he finally snaps, becoming a puppet reciting his mantra “I am a killer” as the police burst through the door and arrest him.
