Synopsis
Six people reveal their own interpretation and search for the perfect black. Eike Günther is an astrophysicist specializing in the discovery of Earth-like planets — he can define the perfect black, but will never find it. After all, the echo of the Big Bang is everywhere. It is the moment when humans drop their masks. Shortly after Gerhard Wiesbeck finishes this sentence, he colors his counterpart black with the tattoo needle. In the depths of our oceans, where no light falls, there is life. And marine biologists like Antje Boetius explore it. The black depth is their home.
