Synopsis

Known to the world as “the quiet one” of the group, former Rolling Stones bassist and rock and roll renaissance man Bill Wyman kept a detailed diary of every single day throughout his career. He also shot hours of film footage, took thousands of photographs and collected a vast private archive of memorabilia. Watching his previously unseen footage and hearing his stories is like going back in time to stand at Bill's shoulder and experience his life first-hand. Against the odds, he escaped a bleak future in post-war, working class London to find himself at the center of a musical and cultural revolution as part of “the greatest rock and roll band in the world.”

Wild Rose was the best of the limited releases earning an average of $13,235 in four theaters, while Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am was right behind with an average of $12,013, also in four theaters. Limited and VOD Releases: Ladies Gone Wild

June 21st, 2019

Ladies in Black

None of the films on this week’s list look like they will have breakout success. It is nearly impossible to find a film coming out in limited release this week that is in a genre that tends to do well in limited release, has great reviews, and isn’t playing on VOD. Wild Rose matches those three criteria the closest, but it is Ladies in Black that I’m most interested in seeing. More...
