Synopsis
Vedette is a cow. Vedette is a queen. She was even the queen of queens in the alpine pastures. But Vedette has aged. To avoid the humiliation of being dethroned by young rivals, our neighbors Elise and Nicole leave us to keep her all summer. This is how our view will change — our view of cows, of our peasant neighbours, of the world at all.
