The prosect of going against Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith has caused most studios to avoid this weekend at all costs. There are no wide releases and only two limited releases willing to take the chance.

Dominion: A Prequel to the Exorcist - Reviews
This is the original version of Exorcist: The Beginning, before the studio got a new director and demanded nearly total reshoots. The behind-the-scenes turmoil may make this film worth checking for some, but even then its best saved for DVD. The film opens on Friday in over a hundred theaters in select cities.

Sex, Politics & Cocktails - Reviews
Writer, Director, Producer and star, Julien Hernandez, plays Sebastien, a struggling filmmaker who finally gets a break when he's chosen to direct three documentaries. Unfortunately for him, they are on gay men and their relationships, a topic he has no knowledge of. This film also opens this Friday in just two theaters in California, Camelot Theatres and Regent Theatre: Hollywood, before touring other cities in the coming months.
