Synopsis

Steven Spielbergs take on H.G. Wells book tells the story of an Alien invasion on earth with Tom Cruise playing the lead character of a family man fighting the alien invasion. This project got greenlit in 2004 for a summer 2005 release and became number one priority for Spielberg and Cruise delaying their other projects (Indiana Jones 4?, Mission: Impossible 3)
