Synopsis
The VIP news will bubble like a volcano: the famous artist Olaf Schubert believes that his mother had a short, but hot affair with Mick Jagger in the 60s, still during the GDR era. Why else does he look like Jagger’s spitting image — that is, if you look closely! The film-turned-amateur detective OLAF JAGGER pursues one of the supposedly best-kept secrets in history. It tells of the curious entanglements of the Cold War, of parents who can be chosen, of the heart of rock’n’roll that beat the in the West just as in the East, and of the search of a nationally known comedian for his father in the flesh. A documentary that begins as a detective search and later becomes a journey full of absurd situations. And retells parts of GDR history with a big wink…
