Extended Slump on the Per Theatre Charts

April 28, 2004

For the fourth time in five weeks no film could make $10,000 per theatre this weekend. In fact, we only have three films in our charts making more than half that. Number one on the chart is This So-Called Disaster and it could only make $8435 in its lone theatre.

This past week also saw some milestones reached for several Per Theatre Charts alumnus:

Monsieur Ibrahim's run is winding down but it did cross $2 million this weekend.
The documentary Touching the Void has taken in $4 million so and could have another milestone in store.
