Per Theatre Average Charts Falls Down

September 15, 2004

No film could reach the $10,000 mark on the per theatre average chart. The top film on the charts, Testosterone missed the mark by quite a margin earning an average of $7,363 in its four theatres.

This past week also saw some milestones reached for several Per Theatre Charts alumnus:

  • Riding Giants reached $2 million during the past week.
  • What the #$'! Do We Know hit $3 million early in the weekend and is now closing in on its $4 million production budget.
  • Napoleon Dynamite saw its weekend box office drop to $2.5 million, but it managed its first top ten finish. It also hit $30 million over the weekend surpassing fellow indie hit Open Water.
