Blade III has a Familiar Face as its New Director
June 3, 2003
David Goyer will be taking over the directing reigns for the third and possibly last installment of the successful Blade franchise. He is no stranger to the project having written all the Blade movies, as well as the upcoming Freddy vs. Jason and other comic book adaptations. David Goyer will be taking over from Guillermo del Toro, who couldn’t find the time in his schedule between wrapping up Hellboy and starting the H.P. Lovecraft adaptation, Mountains of Madness.
Also of note, this will be the last Blade movie with star Wesley Snipes. After three vampire movies the star wants to move on to other projects. Like bringing fellow comic book hero, Black Panther to the big screen.
