Synopsis
Over-the-top, self-serving Texas televangelist Sissy Bartlett takes a delinquent woman, Randy, in under her wing to bolster her fan donations and TV ratings. Things get complicated when Sissy’s estranged son John Bartlett resurfaces and develops a romantic relationship with Randy. Just as Sissy’s career starts to take off and she is invited to perform on a larger, more popular show, her unethical past comes to the light and she quickly sacrifices her relationships with both John and Randy in an attempt to save her career. Sissy's true colors exposed, John ultimately finds himself with the power to ruin or redeem the mother who abandoned him— all in front of a live television audience.
