Theater Counts: Finding Dory Has the Edge Going into Long Weekend

The Finding Dory

Finding Dory remains in widest release this weekend, in 4,305 theaters for the third weekend running. Independence Day: Resurgence picks up 23 locations, and is in second-widest release. The Legend of Tarzan has top billing among the new releases, playing in 3,561 theaters. Universal has also announced that The Secret Life of Pets will debut in at least 4,100 theaters next weekend.
