Weekend Theater Counts: Onward Makes a Grand Debut as the Weeks Widest Release

Onward enters the mix this week not only as the widest release with 4,310 screens, but also as the 32nd largest opening theater count of all time. The Call of the Wild begins its third week in 3,914 theaters. Meanwhile, Sonic The Hedgehog and The Invisible Man settle into the third and fourth spots, respectively, with newcomer The Way Back rounding out the top five.
